Onsite Tech & Counter help 

We are currently seeking counter help / Field Technician for our growing business. 

We are offering roughly 25-40 hours a week, plus commission for onsite work. (must work Saturdays 10-4) (40 hours may be offered depending on your skills and if the need arises in the future.) 

Your PRIMARY job will be answering phones, waiting on customers, and writing them up for service, keeping the store area clean, assisting management, checking in and putting away product. Entering basic information in QuickBooks (super easy) and some tech work in house

Your SECONDARY job will be onsite service to customer's homes and businesses. These jobs typically include: Setting up new printers, wireless diagnostics and setups, new computer delivery and setup, basic networking and sharing, pickup and delivery.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL JOB, PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR PRIORITY WILL BE WORKING UP FRONT WITH CUSTOMERS, WRITING THEM UP FOR SERVICE, ANSWERING PHONES AND SUCH.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Please do not send resume if you do not meet these requirements)
-Ability to provide exceptional guest service.
-Attention to detail
-Must enjoy working with customers
-Reasonable typing speed
-Familiarity with Windows (Mac OS a plus)
-Familiarity with Intuit QuickBooks (if you don't know we will train....it's easy)
-Ability to follow directions quickly and accurately
-Excellent listening and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Ability to keep store looking good (light cleanup duties)
-Reliable transportation (must be willing to travel to local businesses and customer's homes )
-must have a checking or savings account for Direct Deposit Payroll

NOT REQUIRED, BUT APPRECIATED:
-Previous work history in a retail environment
-The ability to help customers in and out of the store with their computer (usually not more than 40lbs)
-A plus If you live within 10 miles of our store in Keego Harbor.
-Willing to travel to local businesses and customers' homes for onsite service. (You will be paid commission on these jobs)
-The ability to guide customers over the phone on how to locate our business
-Experience with Apple OS and hardware
-Experience with Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
-The ability to post on eBay.  (Huge Plus! and will pay commisions!)
-The ability to update our website. (pretty easy)
we are offering $9.5 - $11 per hour, possibly more depending on other skills you may possess. Plus commission for any onsite tech work, or travel time to customers' homes and businesses.
